COUNCIL CHAIR DAVIS RESPONDS TO ANNOUNCEMENT THAT BOARD OF TRADE CEO JIM DINEGAR IS STEPPING DOWN

The Prince George’s County Council is grateful for the excellent, strong and longstanding regional leadership Jim Dinegar has provided as the president and chief executive officer of the Greater Washington Board of Trade. While news that he is stepping down from this position in the fall is difficult, we respect Jim’s decision to focus on his family. A major resource to the business community and the community at large, Jim Dinegar’s leadership and institutional knowledge have served as an ever-present guide and defining presence to growing local and regional prosperity and promoting effective regional collaboration. We wish Jim the best and look forward to his public involvement and input in the future.
