• If an organization applying for, or designated to receive a grant is not in good standing, it will not receive a grant unless and until the organization has been reinstated to good standing status.
• Organizations receiving grants are subject to random audits conducted by the Prince George’s County Office of Audits and Investigations. When during the course of these audits, the Office of Audits and Investigations and Council Administration note deficiencies or concerns funding of a grant is stopped and/or the entity is referred to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
• A review of the applicant's board of directors and staff is conducted by the Legislative Branch Grants Coordinator, under the supervision of Council Administration, to make sure there are no apparent conflicts of interest impacting grant approval.
