Prince George's County Council Dannielle M. Glaros was reelected in the November 2018 General Election to serve a second four-year term as the Prince George’s County Council Member representing District 3.  After serving for two years as Vice Chair of the Council, she was elected by her colleagues to serve as Council Chair for the 2018 Legislative Year. Chair Glaros is currently a member of the Council’s Planning, Zoning and Economic Development (PZED) Committee; chairs the Metropolitan Washington Council of Government’s Region Forward Coalition; and serves as Council representative to the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB).  Prior to her election, Chair Glaros served as Chief of Staff for County Council Member Eric Olson, District 3, for eight years; Council Chair Glaros was the honored recipient of the 2015 Center for Nonprofit Advancement Phyllis Campbell Newsome Public Policy Leadership Award, recognizing the work of elected or non-elected public officials who have gone above and beyond in partnership with the nonprofit sector to ensure more vibrant communities.   Council Chair Glaros and her husband Steve have two children, Lillian and Evan, who both attend Prince George’s County Public Schools. They live in Riverdale Park, where they are restoring their historic home. Council Chair Glaros is also a Girl Scout troop leader, and member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in College Park.​​To learn more about me, please click on “More Information.”
