POSTPONED: The Right Fit, Inc. presents the 4th Annual Once Upon A Gown and The
Suit Suite

A Message from The Right Fit:

"Our top priority is the safety and health of everyone connected to The Right Fit, Inc. With that in mind, we have made the difficult but necessary decision, to indefinitely postpone our Once Upon a Gown & the Suit Suite event on March 28th.⠀ ⠀

We did not make this decision lightly, but are following the lead and guidance from federal, state, local governmental agencies, and health experts, to adhere to the necessary precautions to ensure we are not assisting in any greater threat to the community we love and serve. We consider everyone our family.⠀ ⠀

While Once Upon a Gown and the Suit Suite event will be POSTPONED, we will remain steadfast in our mission to continue to provide services that support the young adults & families in our communities. In that vein, we are getting creative and will be continually searching for new and innovative ways to offer our services.⠀ ⠀

First, if you've already registered for the event, your registration will be honored and you do not have to register when we open it up again. We will be sure to contact you with more information. Please let us know if you have ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL.

Send questions to info@therightfitinc.org.  Second, if your prom is before May 1st and still currently scheduled, please contact us at info@therightfitinc.org to make a private appointment. We will ask that you complete a questionnaire ahead of your visit, so that we can provide a safe, and efficient experience to find an outfit or two that fits your needs.⠀ ⠀ ⠀

Please keep an eye on our social media pages, as we will continue to share updates, resources, and information available to the community during this trying time."

Arbor Foundation
S.P.A.C.E Program
(March, 2020 - June, 2020)

The Lake Arbor Foundation (LAFI) invites the community to enroll our community's youth in its Saturday Program for Academic and Cultural Enrichment.  S.P.A.C.E strives to engage all motivated young people, especially youth who have a deep desire to expand their educational opportunities in spite of their socioeconomic background.

S.P.A.C.E fosters a hands-on and in-depth learning environment by connecting students to community experts who are educators and mentors. (S.P.A.C.E.) will take place according to the below session dates from now through June 2020.  S.P.A.C.E. is an opportunity for students in grades 3 through 6 in the Mitchellville and surrounding communities to participate in our core program that will focus each Saturday on: Reading/Language Arts, STEM and Chess Coding and Life Skills and field trips.

Certified teachers review material that is aligned with the Maryland State Department of Education curriculum standards and students have an opportunity to review concepts and S.P.A.C.E. is not “school” – it’s enriching – and – it’s learning and will bridge the gap between school and home...while having FUN!

REGISTRATION FEES:
Each session will be $100 per student, payable in advance.

The current session is in progress but it isn't too late to register for the following sessions:
