COUNTY COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE CONVENE VIRTUALLY WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8^TH FOR FIRST SESSIONS FOLLOWING AUGUST RECESS 

The Prince George’s County Council and the Committee of the Whole (COW) will convene virtually for the first sessions following August recess on Wednesday, September 8^th. 

Council Session, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., will include the Presentation and Introduction of legislation and seven (7) public hearings.  The Council will also review two Resolutions eligible for adoption, CR-79-2021, legislation initiating a Countywide Master Plan of Transportation, and CR-80-2021, a Resolution concerning the thirteenth continued Declaration of Emergency due to the coronavirus.  Prior to adjournment, the Council will receive a briefing from the Department of Housing of Community Development on the County’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program.

Council session will recess at 11:15 a.m., and Council Members will convene as Committee of the Whole.
