COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE TO REVIEW GENERAL ASSEMBLY ITEMS; COUNCIL TO CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARINGS DURING HYBRID SESSIONS ON TUESDAY, APRIL 5TH    

The Prince George’s County Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW), and the County Council will convene hybrid sessions – both virtually and in person - on Tuesday, April 5th.

The COW will convene at 10:00 a.m. to review General Assembly Items and proposed legislation.   

Council session will include the Introduction and Presentation of proposed legislation, and public hearings for Executive Appointments to the Fire Commission and Board of Education.  

Public hearings will also be held for CR-008-2022, legislation concerning compensation for public officials; CR-011-2022, legislation approving the redesignation of the Greater College Park Regional Institution Strategic Enterprise ("RISE") Zone; and CR-012-2022, legislation for the purpose of approving certain appropriation transfers between certain projects in the Fiscal Year 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Program. 

Prior to adjournment, a public hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. for the WSSC Proposed FY 2022-2023 Operating and Capital Budgets and the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission Capital Improvement Program for Water and Sewerage for FY 2023-2028.
