“Working for All of Us” Community Event to Focus on Identifying Area Improvements Along Shared Stretch of Highway
Prince George’s County Council Member Wanika Fisher (District 2) and District of Columbia Council Member Zachary Parker (Ward 5), responding to a shared commitment for area improvements along Eastern Avenue, will lead the “Working for All of Us” Community Walk on Friday, March 17th at 11:00 a.m. beginning at 1 Municipal Place in Mount Rainier.
Council Member Fisher says working with Council Member Parker on this important issue impacting both jurisdictions, is a welcome opportunity to collaboratively address the shared interests and concerns of residents along Eastern Avenue.
“DC Council Member Parker and I share portions of Eastern Avenue, and each of us has heard from our constituents regarding improvements for this area. We are inviting residents, and all interested stakeholders to walk the community with us and help identify where these improvements might be made.”
Eastern Avenue forms a portion of the boundary between Prince George’s County and the District of Columbia.
