Council Member Ingrid Watson Hosts Community Partners Food Giveaway

Turkeys and Bags of Food Distributed to District 4 Residents for Thanksgiving · November 17-20

Prince George’s County Council Member Ingrid Watson (District 4), will join the Interfaith Coalition of Bowie, Greenbelt CARES, Reid Temple A.M.E., and Fountain Community Enrichment to host a District 4 Community Partners Food Giveaway Friday, November 17, through Monday, November 20, in the communities of Bowie, Greenbelt, Glenn Dale, and Upper Marlboro.

Council Member Watson said it is essential to support residents needing assistance, especially during the holiday season. “Food prices are on the rise, and Thanksgiving can be a difficult time for those who may not be able to bear the cost of a dinner for their family,” said Council Member Watson. “I appreciate the efforts of our community partners to provide turkeys and bags of food for District 4 residents in need.”

The District 4 Community Partners Food Giveaway will distribute turkeys and other Thanksgiving food items for District 4 residents until the supply is exhausted. For more information, contact Bria Archie at BAArchie@co.pg.md.us or 301.952.3094.
