Council to Focus on Legislative Priorities and Goals for 2019
The Prince George’s County Council will hold its 2019 Annual Retreat on Monday, January 7th and Tuesday, January 8th, at The Hotel at the University of Maryland, 7777 Baltimore Avenue in College Park, Maryland. Sessions are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. each day.
During the two-day retreat, Council Members, County leaders, invited guests and staff will receive updates on a variety of Council related initiatives including, but not limited to, the Blue Ribbon Commission, Tax Credit Reform Commission, Comprehensive Housing Strategy, and the PGCPS Performance Audit. Additional topics of discussion include the County Budget and fiscal outlook; Council grants; legislative priorities for the 2019 General Assembly session; and the University of Maryland Capital Region Health.
The Council’s 2019 Annual Retreat is an open meeting and the public is invited to attend.
