Prince George's County Council Member Ingrid S. Watson, in partnership with the Willow Oak (MD) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, will host Human & Sex Trafficking Exposed, an informational forum on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, 7:00 PM-9:00 PM.

*Doors open at 6:30 PM, program begins at 7:00 PM*

Event speakers include:

  • Captain Frederick E. Minor (Commander, Training & Special Ops Division - Prince George's County Sheriff's Office)
  • Jamie Sokolis (Human Trafficking Coordinator, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault - University of Maryland Medical System)
  • Candace Parrott (Senior Director of Program Strategy, Araminta)
  • Saran Myers-Martin (Director of Training & Promotion Shared, Hope International)
  • Nadine Finigan-Carr (Executive Director, UMB Center for Violence Prevention)

Human and sex trafficking is a global issue that takes on many forms, and can happen to anyone of varying ages and backgrounds. This event is designed to raise awareness and understanding of this critical issue, along with helpful tips for recognizing the signs and reporting suspicious activity.
