The County's primary care physician crisis has gotten worse with a single primary care provider setting, on average, 2,020 Prince Georgians. The Prince George's County Council, sitting as the Board of Health, hosted a discussion on bringing more primary care physicians to Prince George's County.

Panelists discussed the accessibility of primary care in Prince George's County and what can be done to bring additional providers to Prince George's County.

The Mental Health Town Hall highlighted the progress made and initiatives created since the 2023 Mental Health Town Hall, and provided a safe and supportive space for residents to gain a deeper understanding of mental health, work towards reducing stigma, and discover available support systems.
