The Prince George’s County Council invites the general public to its Hispanic Heritage Month 2024 celebration on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 2:00 PM.
Join the County Council in observing the rich history, heritage, culture, and contributions of Hispanic Americans in Prince George’s County with musical and poetry performances from the Bowie State University Drumline, led by their first-ever Hispanic Drum Major, Miguel Gasca Ortega; members of the Bowie State University Symphony of Soul Marching Band; the Bowie State University Choir; and the Northwestern High School Visual & Performing Arts Choir; and remarks from keynote speaker Yvette Lerma Jones, Director of Student Affairs Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, at the University of Maryland, College Park.
