Federal jobs and contracts have long been vital to building stability and wealth in Black communities. Today, those opportunities are shrinking—and our communities are feeling the impact. How do we fight back? This event is a call to action, bringing together advocates, labor leaders, and community voices to chart a path forward.

We are proud to announce our keynote speaker: Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick of Florida's 20th Congressional District. Her leadership and vision will help set the stage for a powerful discussion on protecting and rebuilding opportunity.

The panel discussion will feature:

  • Jamar Brown: Executive Director, Color of Change
  • Ottis Johnson: National Vice President, AFGE (District 14)
  • Moderator: Denise Rolark Barnes, Publisher, The Washington Informer

Seats are filling fast—over 200 RSVPs already
