Public safety and building community trust in law enforcement are top priorities for the Prince George’s County Council. Addressing the longstanding issue of police accountability is a serious matter, and our commitment to achieving meaningful reform will be evident in a measured, deliberate, and transparent process, resulting in the selection of fair-minded, objective appointees.
The Prince George’s County Council is seeking qualified applicants to serve on the Police Accountability Board. In accordance with Sec. 2-533 of the Prince George’s County Code, the County Council is appointing four members to serve on the board.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Individuals must meet the qualifications outlined in Sec. 2-533 of the County Code, which may be accessed at the following link: Terms of Office - Police Accountability Board
HOW TO APPLY:
To be considered for this position, individuals must complete an application form by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025. Individuals who have met the qualifications will be notified of heir eligibility by email.
