The Prince George’s County Council is very disappointed by
today’s announcement by the General Services Administration to cancel its
search for a new FBI headquarters. We believe Prince George's County was the
best possible choice for site selection and unfortunately this decision will
severely impede the creation of jobs and economic development in the region.
Throughout the relocation process the entire County Government was united in
the effort and we will continue to work together to expand economic opportunity
in Prince George’s County.
