[ARCHIVED] Chair Dannielle Glaros Issues Statement in Honor of Veterans Day 2018

In observance of Veterans Day, the Prince George’s County Council honors all courageous veterans and active military, for their courageous commitment to serve our country, especially those who call Prince George’s County home.

As Veterans, you have bravely stood on the frontlines, in an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”  Your bravery restores hope to our hearts. Your service allows us to feel secure, and strengthens our communities.

We encourage veterans to contact the Commission for Veterans at 301-265-8652 to connect with available resources in Prince George’s County.   The mission of the Commission for Veterans is to elevate, develop and promote new and existing programs and services for Veterans and their families within Prince George’s County.

The Prince George’s County Council is deeply grateful for your service.
