Celebrating Women’s History Month and New Business in District 3 - SoBe Restaurant & Lounge
Prince George’s County Council Member Dannielle Glaros (D) – District 3 will be a featured guest at the “Thirsty (for Business) Thursday – Celebration of Women in Business,” event sponsored by the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
The free event will be held at the recently opened and woman-owned, SoBe Restaurant and Lounge, 10621 Greenbelt Road, Suite 201, in Greenbelt.
Council Member Glaros was elected to her first four-year term on the County Council in the 2014 General Election.
"I am thrilled to recognize one of the newest restaurants in District 3, as well as the great accomplishments of women business leaders and the work they are doing to strengthen our community."
“Thirsty (for Business) Thursday – Celebration of Women in Business,” is a networking event to connect business owners with government officials, nonprofits and community leaders. In addition to Council Member Glaros, other featured guests to be honored include the acting Executive Director of the County’s Office of Central Services, Supplier Development and Diversity Division, Sharon Moore Jackson; Owner of the Romano Winery and Vineyard, JoAnn Romano; and Principal, Leutorio Thomas Architects and Engineers, LLC, Hedy Thomas.
