The Mother's Fist Initiative, together with Prince George's County Chair Krystal Oriadha, is excited to launch "Mama Needs A Hand", an on-demand in home support program.

In partnership with Community on the Frontline and the Nu You, Inc., Mama Needs a Hand provides in home support for pregnant and postpartum moms, offering a trained mom assistant who helps with light household tasks, companionship, and practical relief so mothers can breathe, recover, and feel supported. Types of services that will be provided include folding laundry, doing dishes, organizing space, and other needs moms may have.
To be eligible, residents:
- Must live in Prince George's County zip codes 20746, 20747, 20743, 20748, or 20745;
- Pregnant or have a child under 3;
- Is in need to improve feelings of overwhelm;
- Desire more assistance with daily motherhood tasks;
- Willing to participate in a Pre and Post intake call;
