On Tuesday, August 5, Council Member Ingrid S. Watson (District 4) and her team will participate in National Night Out activities throughout District 4. Between 6:00 and 8:30 PM, Council Member Watson and members of her office will join public safety representatives at the locations listed below for family-friendly activities, games, prizes, and giveaways.
National Night Out was established in 1984 by the National Association of Town Watch. It promotes involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
“National Night Out is an amazing opportunity for our law enforcement officers to engage with community members to foster relationships and raise awareness to help build a better, safer community,” said Council Member Watson. “I encourage all of our District 4 residents to get involved, get to know their local police officers, and help promote neighborhood safety.”
