Will offer guidance from judges and legal professionals
Council Member Wala Blegay (District 6) is set to host a District 6 Community Legal Clinic on Saturday, December 13, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Reid Temple A.M.E. Church, 11400 Glenn Dale Blvd., Glenn Dale, MD 20769. This event will offer FREE one-on-one legal guidance to residents.
The clinic will feature the Honorable LaKeecia R. Allen, associate judge for the Prince George's County Circuit Court, and other sitting judges, along with experienced attorneys and legal professionals who will provide information and support on a wide range of legal concerns, including expungements, immigration, housing and landlord-tenant disputes, family law issues, wills, trusts, estate planning, and employment and workplace concerns.
“Too many of our residents face legal challenges without access to trustworthy, affordable guidance,” said Council Member Blegay. “This clinic ensures that families in Prince George’s County have direct access to the legal resources they need to navigate the justice system and protect their rights.”
This event is presented in partnership with Community Legal Services, the Nigerian Center, C&J Migrant Solutions, and other key community organizations committed to expanding access to justice and supporting families across the county.
The event is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to register in advance.
