Council Member Ivey Celebrates New School Year With Back to School Food Truck Fest 2023 - Aug. 31

Food and Fun for Children and Families - Free Meal for the First 100 Students 

 

Prince George’s County Council Member Jolene Ivey (District 5) will help students celebrate the start of a new school year during the Back to School Food Truck Fest 2023 on Thursday, August 31st.  Families and students are invited to join Council Member Ivey at the Kentland Community Center in Landover from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for music, food, games, and fun for the entire family.   

 

The evening’s event will include roller skating (please bring socks and protective gear to participate), face painting, art activities, food trucks, and family-friendly activities. The first 100 students to arrive will receive a free meal. 

 

Representatives from several County agencies and organizations will also be on hand with information about the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System, Joe’s Movement Emporium, VineCorps, ArtWorks Now, Progress Life Center, and Jafe Cycling.  

 

This event, sponsored by Council Member Ivey, is open to the public and free for all ages.
