The Prince George's County Council invites the community to join us and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, an exciting time to recognize the history, heritage, culture, and many contributions of our County’s Hispanic/Latino residents! The Prince George’s County Council invites the general public to its Hispanic Heritage Month 2023 celebration on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, 1:30 PM, at the Wayne K. Curry Administration Building in Largo, Maryland (1301 McCormick Drive, 1st Floor Tech Lounge). Join the County Council in observing the rich history, heritage, culture, and contributions of Hispanic Americans in Prince George’s County with musical and poetry performances by Camilo y Los Locos and Aylezza, and remarks by Dr. Perla Guerrero, Associate Professor and Interim Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of American Studies and Affiliate Faculty in the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Center at the University of Maryland – College Park.
