Vice Chair Oriadha to Host 2nd Annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony

Prince George’s County Council Vice Chair Krystal Oriadha is proud to host the annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony, set to take place on June 2, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Wayne K. Curry Administration Building, 1301 McCormick Drive, Largo, MD.

This event commemorates Pride Month, honors the resilience and contributions of LGBTQIA+ residents, and reaffirms Prince George’s County’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and the celebration of diversity.

Vice Chair Oriadha will be joined by fellow Council Members, local advocates, and community members. The event will feature remarks from leaders and allies prior to the raising of the Pride Flag.

“Prince George’s County is a vibrant and inclusive community, and this ceremony is a powerful reminder that we stand in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ neighbors,” said Vice Chair Oriadha. “Pride Month is not only a celebration but also a call to continue the work toward equity and justice.”
