Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 21, Council Member Wala Blegay (District 6) is set to host more than 200 local business owners for the District 6 Business Expo. It will begin at 5:30 PM at 8500 Pennsylvania Avenue, Upper Marlboro, MD.
Hosted in collaboration with the Bowie Business Innovation Center, this free event will bring together entrepreneurs, small business owners, and aspiring innovators for an evening of networking, education, and opportunity. Attendees will learn how to do business with the Prince George’s County government, access funding and procurement opportunities, and take advantage of economic development programs that can help grow and scale their businesses.
The expo will feature presentations and resources from several organizations including the Prince George’s County Office of Procurement, Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation, FSC First, Industrial Bank, Harbor Bank, and the Maryland Small Business Development Center.
“These organizations are essential partners in helping local entrepreneurs build strong, sustainable businesses,” said Council Member Blegay. “Our goal is to connect District 6 residents and small business owners with the resources they need to thrive right here in Prince George’s County.”
