Council Members Krystal Oriadha (District 7) and Wala Blegay (District 6) will hold a public meeting on Thursday, November 14, 2024, to discuss the future of Marlboro Pike. In partnership with Maryland National Capital Park and Planning, the District 6 and District 7 offices have collaborated to bring together a planning team dedicated to reimagining Marlboro Pike as a vibrant destination in Prince George’s County. This event will offer residents the opportunity to learn more about the development process, share their input, and help shape the future of the area.
The community meeting will take place at Bishop McNamara High School from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All residents of Districts 6 and 7 are encouraged to attend, voice their ideas, and see firsthand the progress being made in the Marlboro Pike development project.
“This meeting brings us one step closer to ensuring that Marlboro Pike becomes a destination within Prince George’s County—a place where residents can live, work, and play,” said Council Member Blegay. “We’re committed to building a community that reflects the needs and aspirations of the people who live here, and we want residents to make their voices heard.”
“We are so excited to partner on this project and engage the community in building a shared vision for Marlboro Pike,” said Council Member Oriadha. “We want to make this a space that serves everyone’s needs and supports local businesses, families, and residents alike.”
