On Tuesday, February 3, beginning at 9:00 AM, the Prince George’s County Council will host a public swearing-in ceremony and reception for its two newest Council Members: Danielle Hunter (District 6) and Timothy Adams (District 4). Both events will take place at the Wayne K. Curry Administration Building, 1301 McCormick Drive, Largo, MD, 20774.
Council Member Hunter was appointed to the District 6 seat following Council Member Wala Blegay’s appointment to an At-Large seat. Adams was appointed by the Council following the resignation of former District 4 Council Member Ingrid S. Watson.
Following the swearing-in ceremony and reception, the Council’s General Assembly Committee is scheduled to meet at 11:00 AM in the second floor Committee Room (2027). The full Council will meet in the first floor Council Hearing Room at 12:30 PM.
