Public Utility Location and Procedures Task Force

The Prince George’s County Council Public Utility Task Force, established by Council Resolution 87-2017for the purpose of further examining the process by which regulated public utilities locate on land situated in close proximity to certain residential, educational, and institutional uses in Prince George's County.

The Public Utility Task Force is charged with studying electric public utility location practices and procedures to evaluate current practices related to the location or regulated public utility uses in Prince George’s County, and make policy recommendations.
