DISTRICT COUNCIL TO CONVENE FIRST SESSION OF LEGISLATIVE YEAR 2023, MONDAY, JANUARY 9^TH; COUNTY COUNCIL RECONVENES TUESDAY, JANUARY 10^TH  

The County Council, sitting as the District Council on land use matters, will convene its first session of Legislative Year 2023 on Monday, January 9^th. The County Council will reconvene on Tuesday, January 10^th. 

Monday’s District Council session will begin at 10:00 a.m. and address several items Pending Finality. County Council session will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10^th with the Introduction and Presentation of measures, followed by the review of Proposed Correspondence and a Plan 2035 Update and Smart Growth Briefing.  

The following Council committee meetings will also be held the week of January 9^th:

Monday, January 9^th 

11:00 a.m. Planning, Housing and Economic Development Committee (PHED) 

1:30 p.m. Education and Workforce Development Committee (EWD) 

Tuesday, January 10^th 

9:00 a.m. General Assembly Committee 

Thursday, January 12^th 

1:30 p.m. Government Operations and Fiscal Policy Committee (GOFP)
