District 8 Residents Encouraged to Attend for Important Community Updates
Prince George’s County Council Member Obie Patterson (D) of District 8 will host the 7th Annual State of District 8 Community meeting on Saturday, June 3, 2017 @ 11:00 a.m. at Oxon Hill Library.
The 7th Annual State of District 8 Community Meeting will feature updates from Council Member Patterson, and presentations from the Prince George’s County Financial Services Corporation; Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC); Dept. of Public Works & Transportation (DPW&T) and the Dept. of Parks & Recreation. Representatives will discuss loans for Small, Minority & Women-Owned Businesses, the new WSSC Rate Structure, Road Resurfacing Projects and Tucker Road Ice Rink. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and share concerns about related community issues.
This event is free and open to the public.
