[ARCHIVED] COUNCIL MEMBER TODD M. TURNER HOSTS “STAY SHARP ON SOCIAL MEDIA”


A Day of Fun and Information on Online Safety, Responsible Social Media Use, Cyberbullying and Networking for Parents and Students


Prince George’s County Council Member Todd M. Turner (D) – District 4, in partnership with Bowie State University, In Reach, Inc., AC Pollard Staffing, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. – Iota Gamma Omega Chapter and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission will host “Stay Sharp on Social Media – Networking, Cyberbullying and Safety.”  
 

The event will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Bowie State University, Student Center, 14000 Jericho Park Road in Bowie, Maryland.

“Stay Sharp on Social Media” will feature presentations by Assistant State’s Attorney, Yvonne Robinson; Prince George’s County Council Technology and Design Specialist, Shelby L. McRae; Department of Defense IT Specialist, Tabitha L. Ruffin; Dr. Roselyn Aker-Black; Motivational Speaker, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Rebecca Kissoon; and Relationship Therapist and Online Sports Connoisseurs, Richard and Dorian Brooks.  The day’s event will also include special guests WKYS radio personalities Angie Ange and DJ Freeez, performances by Lil Key, door prizes and social media workshops.
