Children’s NICU Care Team, NICU Grads and Families Connect for Reunion Event
Prince George’s County Council Member Sydney Harrison (D) – District 9, will join the Children’s National Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Care Team and families of NICU grads for the Children’s National NICU Reunion 2019 event on Saturday, September 7, 2019, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The National Zoo, 3001 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20008.
The Children’s National NICU Reunion 2019 event will bring together the Children’s NICU Care Team and NICU grad families for a fun-filled day of face painting, games, refreshments and giveaways. Council Member Harrison, a NICU grad, looks forward to sharing a few words and connecting with families and staff.
“I was one of those premature, sick babies who needed intensive medical care, and the Children’s NICU saved my life. The Care Team and their essential work should be celebrated, and the opportunity to express our gratitude and connect with other ‘grad families’ is something I look forward to.”
