The Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW), Prince George’s County Council and the District Council will convene virtually on Tuesday, February 9th.
COW is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. with General Assembly Updates, to include discussions on several statewide bills and the review of legislation. Council session will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the presentation of measures and Proposed Correspondence. Public Hearings will be held for the Executive Appointment of Corenne D. Labbe' as Director of the Department of Corrections, and nominees to the Board of Ethics. The Council will also review CR-010-2021, legislation extending the appointment of Hector Velez as Acting Chief of Police.
The County Council, sitting as the District Council on land use matters, will convene at 12:00 Noon to address items Referred for Document and Pending Finality.
