COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE, COUNTY COUNCIL AND DISTRICT COUNCIL CONVENE VIRTUALLY MARCH 9TH FOR SCHEDULED SESSIONS
The Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW), the Prince George’s County Council and the County Council sitting as the District Council on land use matters will convene virtually on Tuesday, March 9th.
The COW is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. for General Assembly updates, to include discussions on several statewide bills. The Committee of the Whole will also receive Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) updates.
Council session will convene at 11:30 a.m. for the Presentation and Introduction of several Council Bills, and the review of Proposed Correspondence. The Council will also hold a Public Hearing for CR-008-2021, a Council Resolution concerning contract approvals for a multi-year financing agreement to fund a portion of the new inpatient and ambulatory behavioral health facility at Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center.
Immediately following Council session, District Council will convene to address an Item Referred for Document.
