M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation and PGCPS to Provide Youth Sports Briefings
The Prince George’s County Council will convene virtually on Tuesday, June 15th. Council session, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., will include the presentation and introduction of measures and review of Proposed Correspondence addressed to Prince George’s County Board of Education Chair, Dr. Juanita Miller, regarding the Board of Education FY 2021 Operating Budget.
The Council will also address several Council Resolutions eligible for adoption, including CR-041-2021 and CR-043-2021, resolutions concerning the FY 20 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development, and CR-072-2021, a Council Resolution expressing support for the celebration of Juneteenth National Freedom Day. Prior to adjournment, the Council will receive briefings from the M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation, Youth Sports Division, and Prince George’s County Public Schools/Youth Sports on youth sports programs in the County.
