COUNTY COUNCIL TO REVIEW PROPOSED CORRESPONDENCE, REVIEW LEGISLATION AND CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARINGS DURING HYBRID AND VIRTUAL SESSIONS APRIL 19th; COUNCIL CONDUCTS BUDGET WORK SESSIONS
M-NCPPC Budget Public Hearing at 5:00 p.m.
The Prince George’s County Council will convene a hybrid session – meeting both virtually and in person - on Tuesday, April 19th at 10:00 a.m.
The Council will review Proposed Correspondence to U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, regarding support for M-NCPPC’s application for RAISE (Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity) grant funding. Public Hearings will also be held for proposed legislation. CR-015-2022 and CR-016-2022, legislation concerning Compensation and Benefits, is scheduled for final Council action.
The County Council will reconvene at 5:00 p.m. for a public hearing on the M-NCPPC Proposed Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Operating and Capital Budgets, and the M-NCPPC Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2023-2028.
The Council will also conduct the following virtual budget work sessions to review proposed spending plans for County departments and agencies, this week:
