COUNCIL SESSION TO ADDRESS PROPOSED CORRESPONDENCE, EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS AND LEGISLATION; COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE TO REVIEW LEGISLATION AND BOARD OF EDUCATION APPOINTMENT; BUDGET WORK SESSIONS CONTINUE
The Prince George’s County Council and the Committee of the Whole (COW) will convene hybrid sessions – virtual and in person – on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Tuesday’s County Council session is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. with the review of Proposed Correspondence to Montgomery County Council President Gabe Albornoz, transmitting the Council's recommendations for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, and the Washington Suburban Transit Commission Operating and CIP Fiscal Year 2023 proposed bi-county budgets.
Public hearings will also be held for the Executive Appointment of Dewayne Hudson to the Board of Registration for Building Contractors, and several legislative measures are scheduled for a Council vote.
The COW meeting scheduled for noon on Tuesday will address the Executive Appointment of Brandon Jackson to the Board of Education’s District 6 seat, and review proposed legislation. The COW will also conduct scheduled budget work sessions for the Board of Education/CIP and the CIP - all agencies.
