COUNTY COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE RECONVENE HYBRID SESSIONS FOLLOWING AUGUST RECESS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH 

Council to Receive Final Report and Recommendations from Responsible Legacy Task Force; Conducts Public Hearing for Removal of WSSC Commissioner

The Prince George’s County Council and the Committee of the Whole (COW) will convene virtually and in person for the first hybrid sessions following August recess on Tuesday, September 6th.  

 Council Session, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., will include a Public Hearing to consider the removal of Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) Commissioner Keith Bell. The Presentation and Introduction of legislation, and measures eligible for enactment and adoption will also be addressed. Prior to adjournment, the Council will receive a briefing from the Responsible Legacy Task Force on its final report and recommendations.   

Council Members will convene as Committee of the Whole at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday for the review of legislation, and a Transcript Analysis for the Proposed Historic Site, John and Mary White House.
