“Effectively addressing the County’s public safety challenges will require ongoing dialogue and engagement, and The People’s Council is committed to prompting the types of conversations that lay the groundwork for effective change. It is encouraging that several of my Council colleagues are also hosting public safety events and spurring conversation on this issue because there is no shortage of work ahead to ensure communities are safe and residents remain free from harm.
