Residents Encouraged to Join the Town Hall Discussion and Share Community Concerns 

 

Prince George’s County Council Vice Chair Wala Blegay, Esq. (District 6) will host a Town Hall event in the Lake Arbor community on Thursday, May 25, 2023, 7:00 p.m., at The Lake Arbor Foundation Center, 1399 Golf Course Drive in Mitchellville. 

 

The Lake Arbor Town Hall will present participants with an opportunity to share their community concerns with Vice Chair Blegay, who will provide updates and information related to the County Budget, initiatives, projects, and legislation impacting District 6 residents. Government agencies will also be on hand to answer questions, share resources and distribute information. 

 

Vice Chair Blegay says the Town Hall event is part of an ongoing effort to keep the lines of communication between government and residents open and clear.

 

“We are ‘The People’s Council,’ and our commitment remains to work collaboratively with the people of Prince George’s County to improve the quality of life in our communities. This involves listening to residents and working to effectively address their needs,” adding, “In addition to information and resource sharing, we also want to discuss with residents ways we might improve. I encourage residents to join us as we seek solutions for a better Prince George’s County.”
