Prince George’s Co. Council Member Jolene Ivey Joins Congressman Glenn Ivey, Minority Businesses to Discuss Impacts of SCOTUS Affirmative Action Ruling

On Friday morning, Aug. 4, 2023, Prince George’s County Council Member Jolene Ivey and her husband, Congressman Glenn Ivey, will host a forum to discuss the impacts on businesses following the Supreme Court’s ruling on affirmative action.

The roundtable discussion will feature prominent business leaders: Tim Adams, President & CEO of SA-TECH; Robert Rashford, President & CEO of Genesis Engineering INC; and Former Maryland State Delegate Darryl Barnes, Partner at Evans, Barnes & Associates.

The discussion will also include interested parties who have registered virtually. It will focus on the possible impacts of the affirmative action ruling on procurement, contracting, and business sectors in Maryland and nationwide.
