Board to Address Use of County-Assigned Vehicles
The County Vehicle Use
Review Board, established by Council
Resolution 001-2017, will convene its first meeting on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 6:00
p.m. at the County Administration Building, Second Floor, Room 2027, in Upper
Marlboro, Maryland.
The Council, in its
oversight role, is examining long-standing policies in Prince George’s County
for timely updates. The County Vehicle Use Review Board is charged with
conducting a careful review of administrative policies governing the use of
County-assigned vehicles, and providing policy recommendations for updates and
amendments. The board is scheduled to submit its recommendations by June 30,
2017.
Named to the
three-member board are: Dr. Jacqueline L. Brown (District 6, Central County),
Samuel A. Epps, IV (District 1, North County), and Enor R. Williams, Jr., CCM
(District 9, South County).
March 1st
agenda items include an organizational discussion, including timelines for the
Board, as well as an overview of the Vehicle Use Program. The County Vehicle
Use Review Board meeting is open to the public.
