[ARCHIVED] COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC SAFETY AND FISCAL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE CONVENES MARCH 9

The Prince George’s County Council Committee on Public Safety and Fiscal Management (PSFM) will convene on Thursday, March 9, 1:30 p.m. in the County Administration Building, Council Committee Room 2027, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

March 9th PSFM Committee meeting agenda items include the following proposed legislation and oversight hearing:

CB-001-2017 AN ACT CONCERNING SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATING COMMISSION for the purpose of establishing the Special Events Coordinating Commission and providing for the regulation and oversight of special events in Prince George’s County.

CB-003-2017 AN ACT CONCERNING VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS for the purpose of amending the Code to provide for a medical presumption of occupational disease for Volunteer Firefighters.

CB-005-2017 AN ACT CONCERNING VIDEO LOTTERY FACILITY LOCAL IMPACT GRANT SPECIAL REVENUE FUND for the purpose of establishing a Video Lottery Facility Local Impact Grant Special Revenue Fund; specifying the purposes and uses of the Fund; providing for the financing and administration of the Fund; and generally providing for the Fund.

CB-006-2017 AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRONIC PUBLIC NOTICE for the purpose of improving access to public information by requiring all public bodies to provide electronic notice of public meetings on a central website.
