Board to Discuss Vehicle Use Policy and Jurisdictional Comparisons
The County Vehicle Use Review Board, established by Council Resolution 001-2017, will convene its next meeting on Monday, April 3, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the County Administration Building, Second Floor, Room 2027, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
The Council, in its oversight role, is examining long-standing policies in Prince George’s County for timely updates. The County Vehicle Use Review Board is charged with conducting a careful review of administrative policies governing the use of County-assigned vehicles, and providing policy recommendations for updates and amendments. The board is scheduled to submit its recommendations by June 30, 2017.
April 3rd agenda meeting items include discussions on the vehicle use policy as it relates to specific agencies, jurisdictional comparisons and the framework for recommendations. The County Vehicle Use Review Board meeting is open to the public, and for those in attendance, there will be an opportunity for public participation at the April 3rd meeting.
