Bowie Library to Reopen Following 6-Month Renovation Project

 

Prince George’s County Council Member Todd M. Turner (D) – District 4, will attend and offer remarks during the Grand Reopening Celebration for Bowie Library on Thursday, June 29, 2017, 11:00 a.m., 15301 Hall Road in Bowie.

Council Member Turner says residents are looking forward to reopening the Bowie Library.

“Renovations to the Bowie Library were long overdue. This is an exciting time for residents in the immediate area including Bowie High School students, and with brave and innovative updates, this library for the future will serve as an important reflection of our community. We are progressing and moving forward.”

The Bowie Library project reopens following six months of updates. Featured upgrades include new restrooms, 8 study rooms, enhanced children’s room, revamped teen space, new bookstore cafe, additional electric outlets for digital devices and new meeting room.
