The Prince George’s County Council Committee on Public Safety and Fiscal Management (PSFM) will convene on Thursday, July 13, 1:30 p.m. in the County Administration Building, Council Committee Room 2027, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

July 13th PSFM Committee meeting agenda items include the following proposed legislation and briefings:

CR-056-2017 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING PUBLIC SAFETY SURCHARGE for the purpose of adjusting the public safety surcharge for Fiscal Year 2018, beginning July 1, 2017, as required by State law.

CR-057-2017 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING SCHOOL FACILITIES SURCHARGE for the purpose of adjusting the school facilities surcharge for Fiscal Year 2018, beginning July 1, 2017, as required by State law.

CB-003-2017 AN ACT CONCERNING VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS for the purpose of amending the Code to provide for a medical presumption of occupational disease for Volunteer Firefighters.
