[ARCHIVED] Council Chair Glaros Presents District 3 STEAM Day Event – May 6

“Experience, Expand, Explore District 3” Series Brings STEAM to College Park Aviation Museum; Activities for All Ages 

 

Prince George’s County Council Chair Dannielle Glaros (D) – District 3, will host District 3 STEAM Day on Sunday, May 6, 2018, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the College Park Aviation Museum, 1985 Corporal Frank Scott Drive in College Park, Maryland


The day’s events will feature hands-on demonstrations, presentations, exhibitions, and activities for all ages focusing on the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM). Museum admission and all activities are free for District 3 residents.


Council Chair Glaros says there will be something for everyone at the District 3 STEAM Day.


"District 3 STEAM Day is a part of our “Experience, Expand, Explore District 3” series, an initiative launched to connect residents and businesses with incredible resources and amenities across District 3. For residents who have not yet visited the College Park Aviation Museum, STEAM Day offers an exciting opportunity to explore this local gem, and participate in stimulating STEAM activities. Residents familiar with the museum will enjoy the extra activities our partners have to offer. This family-friendly event is free for District 3 residents and there is something for everyone.”


District 3 constituent areas include the communities of Landover Hills, Riverdale Park, University Park, New Carrollton, Berwyn Heights and portions of College Park, along with the communities East Pines, Glenn Dale, Glenridge, Lanham, Riverdale Heights and Hills, Seabrook, Templeton Knolls, West Lanham Hills, and Woodlawn.
