Council Member Taveras encourages Prince George’s County residents to discover what the Gateway Arts District has to offer.
“The arts are an essential part of our growing, thriving citizenry and a wonderful way to bring communities together. District 2 is going through a wonderful ‘renaissance’ period, and the Gateway Arts District is emerging as a very exciting regional destination for galleries, emerging artists, and art lovers. We want to provide residents with an opportunity to experience what the visual and performing arts community has to offer while giving some of our galleries and studios a platform for sharing their work.”
Following the events, residents can learn more about the Gateway Arts District with the District 2 social media campaign, the Gateways Migration Challenge.
