[ARCHIVED] CHAIR TODD TURNER EXTENDS WELL WISHES AS SENATE PRESIDENT MILLER FIGHTS CANCER

I take this personal privilege to offer our prayers to Maryland State Senate President Thomas "Mike" V. Miller and his family, as Senator Miller faces his recently-announced, courageous battle with cancer.

As he undergoes treatment, Senator Miller has chosen to continue his unparalleled leadership in the Maryland General Assembly. We are confident that he will meet this serious health challenge with the same fortitude and tenacity with which he has served citizens in the state of Maryland and in Prince George's County.

The Prince George’s County Council extends its well-wishes to our native son - Senator Miller, and we look forward to the good news of his strong recovery soon.
