Annual Black History Month Celebration – “Prince George’s Proud – Roots to Royalty”

In observance of Black History Month 2020, the Prince George’s County Council will host “Prince George’s Proud – Roots to Royalty,” on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Council Hearing Room, First Floor, County Administration Building, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive, in Upper Marlboro.
Prince George’s County Executive Angela D. Alsobrooks will serve as the event’s keynote speaker. Featured guests include Dynamic Moves Dance; 5Go Live Productions, Kailyn Jai Rapp; Edified Christian Preparatory Academy Performing Arts; vocalist Lochelle Ferguson; and Prince George’s County Public Schools Language Immersion School. The invocation and benediction will be provided Pastor Anthony G. Maclin, The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square.
This event is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.
