Community Discussion Addresses State and County Bill Agendas
Prince George’s County Council Member Monique Anderson-Walker (D) – District 8, and District 26 State Delegate Jay Walker will co-host a Joint Transforming Communities Meeting on Wednesday, February 26th, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m., at Oxon Hill High School, 6701 Leyte Drive in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
The Joint Transforming Communities Meeting will address the County and State bill agendas. Council Member Anderson-Walker welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with Delegate Walker for this event.
“Coming together for this Joint Transforming Communities Meeting is a wonderful way to combine resources. It also provides an important and timely opportunity for discussing both local and state perspectives on a number of County-related initiatives that impact District 8 and District 26 residents, especially as the Maryland General Assembly is in session.”
Among the additional discussion items are WSSC, stormwater management, Livingston Square, school funding, Census 2020, and the Summer Youth Employment Program. Residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions and express community concerns.
